The new Honorary Colonel has been installed at 8 Air Maintenance Squadron at Canadian Forces Base Trenton.
Chandy Davis replaces outgoing Honorary Colonel Ross McDougall.
Davis, along with her brother Gord run Electro Cables, a Quinte West based company which manufactures electrical and electronic cable products.
Davis is very involved in the community, supporting the YMCA (Peace Medal Winner in 2023), the Trenton Golden Hawks and Frankford Huskies, Quinte Health board committees, Trenton Rotary, Loyalist College boards, and was the 2018 winner of the Quinte West Chamber Business Person of the Year.
Lieutenant-Colonel (LCol) Craig Greely is the Commander of 8 Air Maintenance Squadron and says there is an underlying message and theme he hopes Davis takes to heart.

Davis says a very important part of keeping our freedom is the ability to listen to each other, especially when we do not agree.
She says she is honoured to accept the position with 8 AMS.

8 Air Maintenance Squadron is responsible for performing inspections and maintenance for the CC-130H (Hercules), CC-130J (Hercules), CC-150 (Polaris) and CC-177 (Globemaster) aircraft, which are located at Canadian Forces Base Trenton.
