An intimate partner violence investigation has resulted in numerous charges against a Deseronto resident.
On Monday, May 19, 2025, after 6:30 p.m., officers with the Lennox and Addington County OPP responded to disturbance at a home in Deseronto.
As a result of the investigation, one male was arrested at the scene and has been charged with:
- Assault causing bodily harm – two counts
- Forcible confinement – two counts
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
- Failing to comply with a probation order
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on May 20, 2025.
