The Belleville Beast Swim Team came out in full force for the ROC Spring Splash Invitational on May 10 in Clarington.
Thirty-seven swimmers competed in 111 events during the one-day meet and had some excellent results including 37 first place and 29 second place finishes.
There were great performances from Emily Hudacin, Austin Williams, Hallie Lupton, Olivia Hunt, Ana Mulhall, Emery Oates and Noam Zukovsky – who each earned three first-place wins at the meet.
Olivia Hunt broke the team 50m breaststroke record with a time of 36.74 seconds.
Next up for the Beast is The Markham Mallards Spring Splash this weekend, the Oshawa Spring Fling at the end of May and the Huronia Regional Long Course Long Course Team Challenge in June.
