Three members of the Quinte Legion Lynx Track Club broke five records at the Bay of Quinte track and field championships at the Bruce Faulds track Wednesday.
Charlie Sage of St. Theresa Secondary School broke two records in novice girls pole vault 2.60m and 80m hurdles 13.30 seconds.
Sage also took gold in novice girls shot put.
Bayside Secondary School’s Isla Bibby jumped 3.08m in senior girls pole vault breaking the previous record by 68cm.

Aidan Crawford from Eastside Secondary School capped off the day as he broke two records in senior boys discus 50.62m and established a new senior boys record in shot put of 16.40m, a record that has stood for 42 years.

Crawford also won gold in javelin 52.67m to sweep the senior throws.
