The member leagues that make up the Canadian Junior Hockey League have 117 member teams.
In September, those teams all vie for a chance to be called national champions.
By Saturday that number will dwindle down to four, but it will include the Trenton Golden Hawks.
After the final day of the round robin Wednesday, the G-Hawks sat atop Group A, meaning they get an automatic birth in the Centennial Cup semi-finals.
Trenton was the only team in the round robin without a regulation loss, getting points in each game.
They will be playing the late game on Saturday at 9:30 p.m. our time, but against who will not be known until after quarter-final Friday.
Those games will see Greater Sudbury and Melfort, Saskatchewan, followed by the Rockland Nationals from the Ottawa league playing the Northern Manitoba Blizzard.
Host Calgary has the other bye to the semi-finals.
There will be a watch party at the Trenton arena for the semi-final game and should they make the final Sunday, there will be another viewing party.
