Peterborough Musicfest has been going strong for 38 years and the lineup for summer 2025 is as strong as ever.
On Thursday, Executive Director Tracey Randall unveiled many of this year’s headliners, for the all-free festival.
Included on the docket are Serena Ryder, Kim Mitchell, Sloan, Steven Page, Gob, The Celtic Tenors, incredible tribute acts and more.
Randall spoke to Quinte News shortly after Thursday’s lineup unveiling, and says they focus on variety being the spice of life.
“Make sure that we’re a very diverse lineup because we have so many concert dates for the seven-week period. We start at the end of June when the kids are done for the summer, and for 38 years we’ve run until the middle of August. Every Wednesday and Saturday night.”

Raff Melito is in charge of marketing and communications for Musicfest. She says the goal is to have a nice mix of musical genres.
“Because we don’t set our lineup to a specific genre, there are certain artists that resonate with different audiences. Probably what’s most exciting about our lineup is the other genres that change up every year.”
There are still a few artists/bands to be announced over the coming weeks.
