Kawartha Lakes OPP have arrested six people as a result of an ongoing investigation into the spree of break and enters within Bobcaygeon.
On April 17, 2025, members of the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment received a report of a local business, in Bobcaygeon, actively being broken into. Upon the arrival of officers, those involved were no longer there, an extensive and thorough investigation began. Members of the Community Street Crime Unit of the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment engaged and as a result of the investigation it was found that vehicles within the area had been broken into.
The investigation is still ongoing, however, the following have been arrested and charged.
