Peterborough County OPP are investigating two unrelated fires in Havelock from Sunday.
Just prior to 9 p.m., officers were dispatched to a structure fire on Belmont Twp Concession 8 within the Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Township.
Officers arrived on scene to find Havelock-Belmont-Methuen fire crews fighting a fully-engulfed structure.
There were no injuries reported at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Just prior to midnight, Peterborough County OPP officers were dispatched to a fire at a trailer park located on Fire Route 87 in Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Township.
Officers arrived on scene and observed a trailer on fire and the North Kawartha Fire Department attempting to put it out.
There were no injuries reported at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
In both cases the Office of the Fire Marshal was consulted, and the Peterborough County OPP Crime Unit will be continuing the investigations.
