A ride-share driver has been arrested after sexually assaulting a patron.
On Saturday, May 3, members of the DRPS Central West Criminal Investigations Branch concluded an investigation into a sexual assault. The suspect, a ride-share driver, picked up the victim in a red Mitsubishi SUV with Ontario licence plate CZKL 975. The victim was in the front passenger seat of the vehicle when the suspect touched her inappropriately.
Paul Sundaramahesam, age 43, of Whitby is charged with sexual assault.
He was released on an undertaking.
Police are concerned there may be more victims.
