An international golfing event in the Bay of Quinte is adding pieces to make the event even larger.
Endless Summer, the World Long Drive-sanctioned event, is bringing in the Military Long Drive Showdown.
The event is in partnership with Canadian Forces Base Trenton.
The Military Showcase will include six of Canada’s top military long drive athletes, competing against six from the United States.
Organizer Jodie Jenkins says they are also going to have a flyby performance by Canada’s Armed Forces Parachute Team, the Skyhawks.
“This new military feature is an incredible addition to Endless Summer and a true reflection of what makes our region so special,” said Jodie Jenkins, tournament director and CEO of Zeke Agency. “The partnership with 8 Wing/CFB Trenton is one we are extremely proud of, and it speaks to the deep community spirit that runs throughout Quinte. We’re not just putting on a golf event—we’re building something that brings people together, supports great causes, and showcases world-class talent right here at home.”

A portion of each ticket will support the United Way Hastings-Prince Edward and the Trenton Military Family Resource Centre.
