A single-vehicle collision has resulted in a driver being charged with impaired operation.
On May 2, 2025 at approximately 12 p.m., members of the Prince Edward County OPP were dispatched to a single-vehicle collision at Doxsee Road and Black Road in Prince Edward County.
As a result of the investigation, Jeffery Valleau, age 45, from Prince Edward County, was arrested and charged with:
· Operation while impaired – drugs
· Possession of a schedule I substance
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on May 21. He also had his driver’s licence suspended for a period of 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.
