On Monday, May 5, 2025, a 68-year-old woman who was struck by a school bus at Simcoe Street South and Mill Street succumbed to her injuries.
On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at approximately 2:45 p.m., members from Central East Division responded to a collision involving a pedestrian at Simcoe Street South and Mill Street. A female pedestrian was struck by a school bus while crossing Simcoe Street South.
The 68-year-old female was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
Members of the DRPS Collision Investigations Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation.
This collision is still under investigation.
