The 42nd annual Kiwanis Walleye World Fishing Derby begins on Saturday.
The event takes place Saturday & Sunday and is run by the Trenton Kiwanis Club.
Money raised goes towards youth in the community.
Derby fishing begins at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, coinciding with the opening of walleye fishing season.
Closing ceremonies and the awarding of prizes will take place at 1 p.m on Sunday.
Prizes include $10,000 in cash and a 14′ WideBody boat with included trailer.
