A member of the Belleville Police Service has been recognized for her long service to the community.
During Thursday’s Women in Law Enforcement 2025 awards, Anne Brennan-Walsh was recognized for 35 years of service with Belleville Police.
In 2022, Brennan-Walsh joined the Police Association of Ontario Board of Directors as one of two Civilian Directors. She has served on the HR and Mental Health committees and was recognized with the Harry DeJong Award for Association Service that same year.
During the event, she said that serving as a Police Association Executive, both locally in Belleville and provincially, is one of her proudest achievements.
Brennan-Walsh began working with the Belleville Police Service in 1989.
