Firefighters from Quinte West Fire and Emergency Services are battling a fire in a cornfield along Frankford Road.
The fire began late Thursday morning, with a fire that was set under a burn permit. The fire got out of control and hopped a fence into an adjacent cornfield.
Firefighters are on scene now, working to control the fire.
