Provincial police say a woman has been charged with negligence in an all-terrain-vehicle crash that left a child dead last fall.
Police say a nine-year-old girl was pronounced dead after an ATV rolled over in a ditch in eastern Ontario.
OPP say 35-year-old Candace McFarlane of North Frontenac Township has been charged with causing death by criminal negligence and will appear in court in June.
Police had previously said that the girl had been driving the ATV and two passengers managed to escape and seek help at a nearby house.
