Bancroft OPP are continuing to investigate a collision on Highway 28 South in Highlands East Township.
An ambulance and a pickup truck were involved in a collision Monday afternoon, shortly before 4:00 p.m., south of Highway 118.
The pickup driver was extricated from their vehicle by paramedics and transported to hospital for assessment.
The ambulance was on its way back to the paramedic station with no patients on board.
Highway 28 South was closed for the evening and reopened early Tuesday.
