The City of Belleville is advising residents and motorists that the half-load by-law will be lifted this Wednesday, April 30.
Heavy trucks have been restricted in weight since March to preserve and protect municipal roads/assets from damage during the freeze thaw or spring thaw cycle.
The frost is now out of the ground and road damage that is associated with frost conditions is no longer a risk.
