Hastings County Council was provided numbers for warming centre usage during the month of February and the first two weeks of March.
In her report to council, Director of Community and Human Services Jamie Lynn Osmond gave numbers for the warming centres in Bancroft, Quinte West and Belleville.
For February, the Bancroft Warming Centre averaged eight total guests including six overnight guests, Quinte West averaged 11 total attendees with seven overnight occupants, and Belleville averaged 36 total guests with 29 staying overnight.
In the first two weeks of March, Bancroft averaged 11 total with seven overnight, Quinte West was 14 total with 10 overnight, and Belleville averaged 39 total and 29 overnight.
