Three Toronto men are facing drug trafficking charges after the Peterborough Police Service Drug Unit executed a search warrant at a Peterborough residence Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 3 p.m. on April 23, 2025, officers with the Drug Unit and Emergency Response Team searched a residence on Driscoll Terrace near Hunter Street East following a drug investigation that started earlier this year. One man was arrested by officers attempting to flee the residence and two others were apprehended by K9 Isaac and arrested by officers after a brief foot pursuit downtown in the area of Dalhousie and George streets.
During the search of the residence officers located:
- Loaded firearm
- 53.7 grams of Cocaine
- 11.1 grams of Fentanyl
- 30 Percocet Pills
- Cellphones
- Over $5000 in Canadian currency
As a result,
A 24-year-old Scarborough man was arrested and charged with:
- Traffick in Schedule I substance- Cocaine
- Traffick in Schedule I substance- Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs (Fentanyl)
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000 – in Canada
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court today, April 24, 2025.
A 23-year-old Scarborough man was arrested and charged with:
- Traffick in Schedule I substance- Cocaine x3
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs (Fentanyl)
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000 – in Canada
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court today, April 24, 2025.
A 21-year-old Toronto man was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs (Fentanyl)
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000 – in Canada
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court today, April 24, 2025.
