The City of Belleville is hosting a virtual public meeting to collect feedback on a design for a new playground at Elgin Park.
The previous playground at the park, located at the corner of Sidney Street and Moira Street West, was removed over a decade ago.
Construction of a new playground was approved during 2025 capital budget considerations last October.
A recent online survey received 257 responses which staff used to develop the Request for Proposal for the design of the playground.
The top playground designs will be presented at the virtual meeting and participants will be able to vote for their preferred option through a poll.
The meeting will be held May 8 at 7 p.m.
Residents interested in participating must register online for the meeting before May 6 at 10 a.m.
