Northumberland OPP say they are investigating a fatal collision between a train and a pedestrian.
Officers and emergency crews responded to Ontario Street, near Monck Street, in the Municipality of Brighton just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
The pedestrian, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ontario Street between Monck Street and Butler Street was closed for several hours for the investigation.
The road reopened just after 5:00 p.m.
The investigation is ongoing.
