Quinte West City Council has approved a name for the industrial park at Venture Valley Drive and Carrying Place Road.
The name of the park will be Venture Drive Industrial Park.
In a report to council, Manager of Economic Development and Tourism Linda Lisle, and Economic Development Officer Elizabeth Edwards, say removing “Valley” helps shorten the name, which in turn will be more conducive for opportunities to market and promote the industrial park.
A Request For Proposal for an entrance sign to the park will be released.
The report states that the new signage will help identify the industrial park location, create brand awareness, and serve as a way-finding tool to direct potential investors/developers to the property.
