A large encampment set up Wednesday was taken down just as quickly in Belleville.
Around 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the report of numerous people setting up the encampment, with a portion of it on private property.
Officers spoke to several people on South John Street and discovered a man wanted on an arrest warrant.
Thirty-three-year-old Kevin Perrier was held for a bail hearing.
The encampment was removed.
