Nurses and health care professionals will be holding rallies at several Ontario hospitals, including Belleville General Hospital on Thursday.
The “All-Out” rallies are being held to pressure hospital CEOs to agree to implement registered nurse-to-patient staffing ratios in a new collective agreement with the Ontario Nurses Association.
Arbitration begins in April.
ONA says Ontario has the worst ratio of registered nurses to population in the country.
The rally at BGH will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of the Sills entrance.
