The Trenton Golden Hawks got off to a good start in round one of the OJHL playoffs Friday night, beating the Pickering Panthers 3-1.
Nathan Taylor, Corbin Roach, and Jamie Darlison scored for the G-Hawks. Roach also assisted on a goal.
Shots were even at 23 apiece and the game was played in front of 827 fans.
Game two is Sunday night in Pickering at 7:30.
Meanwhile, the Wellington Dukes start their series with the Stouffville Spirit on the road Saturday at 7:30.
