The Community Development Council of Quinte (CDC Quinte) is now taking registrations for its 2025 Community Garden Program.
They currently have 159 raised beds available in seven different locations in Belleville along with one location in Frankford.
Registration is free, on a first come basis and open to anyone who would like to have the opportunity to grow their own produce.
Participation in the Community Garden Program helps to increase access to affordable fresh vegetables, offers a sense of community, is a great way to get some exercise and fresh air, and offers a connection to the environment.
The CDC Quinte Community Garden Coordinator, Jim Mallabar says “CDC is excited to be opening the Community Gardens for 2025! Last year the Community Garden Program impacted more than 1,400 people.”

-United Way Hastings & Prince Edward, 55 Harriett Street
-160 Roblin Road, Belleville
-Parkdale Baptist Church, 514 Sidney Street, Belleville
-Salvation Army Community Church, 290 Bridge Street West, Belleville
-Community Partners for Success, 100 North Trent Street, Frankford
-St. Columba Presbyterian Church, 520 Bridge Street East, Belleville
-St. Thomas Anglican Church, 201 Church Street, Belleville
-Quinte Alliance Church, 373 Bridge Street West, Belleville

Registration can also be done in person at 65 Station Street Monday–Thursday 9am-5pm. (entrance at back).
