Hastings-Lennox and Addington MP Shelby Kramp Neuman has awarded 25 deserving individuals with King Charles III Coronation Medals.
The medal program was created to honour King Charles’s Coronation in 2023 and aims to recognize 30,000 Canadians who “have made significant contributions to the country, a province, territory, region or community, or an achievement abroad that brings benefit or honour to Canada.”
Kramp Neuman says, “It was an honour to be able to recognize these individuals in this way. The Coronation Medal Program provides Parliamentarians with an opportunity to include community builders and leaders into the Canadian honours system, allowing their contributions to be recognized in an incredibly special way. I want to thank everyone who was the recipient of the award, as well as everyone who was nominated. The selfless dedication you all give to our friends, family, and neighbours does not go unnoticed; you all are the backbone of our community.”
