100+ Women Who Care Quinte is donating to another worthy cause.
Members selected St. Leonard’s Community Support, Prevention and Residential Services as its March chosen charity.
St. Leonard’s is preparing to offer a Supported Independent Living and Youth Emergency Housing program.
Jennica Roloson nominated the charity at Wednesday night’s meeting.
“This donation tonight will mean that we get to furnish the house with new mattresses and comfortable bedding, comforters, pillows, sheets and purchase all the linens that we need to make this beautiful home the place we know it can be for our most vulnerable community members.”
100+ Women Who Care Quinte, which is gearing up for its 10 anniversary in September, will hold its next meeting Wednesday, June 11 at The Grand in Belleville.
