The average sale price of homes increased across the region last month.
Statistics from the Central Lakes Association of REALTORS show the average price in Hastings County rose from $511,637 in January to $517,873 in February.
In Belleville there were 40 sales in February with an average price of $521,728.
The average price among the 35 sales in Quinte West was $538,761.
In Northumberland County, the average sale price rose from $639,707 in January to $676,307 last month.
There were 14 sales each in Brighton and Trent Hills.
Eighteen homes were sold in Prince Edward County which saw the largest month-over-month price increase in the region, with the average sale price rising to $793,525 in February from$679,824 in January.
The average number of days on the market also declined in most areas with the exception of Prince Edward County.
Association President Vicki Sweeney says growing economic uncertainty may cause some buyers to delay their home purchases in the coming months but they remain encouraged by the continued support of low interest rates.
