Athletes with the Quinte Legion Lynx Track and Field Club earned medals at the Athletics Ontario Indoor Championships over two separate weekends in Toronto.
Joshua Thomas led the team with a gold in the Under 18 Men’s High Jump and a bronze in the U20 team.
Thomas was named an All Ontario athlete for the second year in a row.
Hudson Brown and Charlee Sage won silver in the respective pole vault competitions.
In U18 Men’s Pole Vault, Griffin Coffey placed sixth and Trent Bucknell 10th.
Overall, Quinte Legion athletes captured one gold, two silver, one bronze and seven top-ten performances.
More than 2000 athletes competed.
Next up for the Quinte Legion Lynx is the Canadian National Championships in Toronto March 21 to 23.
