Belleville police responded to 82 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5 a.m. on March 3, 2025 to 5 a.m. on March 4, 2025.
Traffic Enforcement
On March 3, 2025 at 7:38 a.m., members of the Belleville Police Service’s Traffic Safety Unit observed a motor vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Dundas Street East near Pinnacle Street.
The driver, a 24-year-old male from Belleville was observed travelling at 93km/h in a posted 50km/h zone.
As a result, he was charged with stunt driving and issued a summons for traffic court.
Additionally, his driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
