Construction activity in Brighton so far in 2025 is well up over last year.
The municipality issued nine permits in February.
That number is down from the 12 permits granted in February 2024, however, the construction value last month was $4.9 million compared to $2.7 million last year.
Twenty-eight permits worth $10.9 million have been issued so far this year.
There were just 16 permits with a $2.9 million value over the first two months of 2024.
Six of the last month’s nine permits were for new dwellings.
