Former Bayside Secondary School student Francis Brennan continues his push toward the 2028 Summer Olympics.
The 17-year-old Belleville native, a member of the Belleville Beast Swim Team is now training with the High-Performance Centre in Toronto.
At the Ontario Age Group Championships over the weekend Brennan medalled in all six events he swam in, including a gold in the 200-metre backstroke and silver in the 100 back and 200 free.
Brennan travels to Edmonton next month to compete in the Canadian Time Trials.
He has accepted a scholarship with Southern Methodist University in Dallas Texas next year.
