The Trenton Golden Hawks beat the Haliburton Huskies 5-4 on Friday night.
Devin Mauro, Jamie Darlison, Nathan Taylor, Matthew Souliere, and Taeo Artichuk scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Huskies came out the gate with a strong first period, taking three goals and keeping the Golden Hawks off the scoreboard. During the second, the Huskies grabbed their final goal of the night, while the Golden Hawks came back with a vengeance, tying up the game with four goals of their own. In the final frame, the Golden Hawks took one last goal to grab the lead, and took the game.
The Golden Hawks sit first in the Eastern Conference and will move on to the OJHL Playoffs.
