Reelected Ric Bresee says it was a tough race.

Making sure that we can continue to protect and build specifically here in Hastings-Lennox and Addington, in eastern Ontario.”
He was he is humbled by the win.

The Liberal Party’s Lynn Rigby says she plans to continue advocating for the needs of her community.

“You know, it was such a short campaign, with horrible weather. I think it went well, I’m excited and it was a great experience.”

NDP candidate Jessica Zielke, said that she is looking forward to running again in the next election.

“All of it was a great experience, being the first election that I’ve run in. It was nice to have an opportunity to do a lot of different things. Getting to talk to people and hear about what their concerns are and it’s pretty nice to be able to knock on somebody’s door and have them let you into their world in that way.”
Voter turnout in the riding was 49.3 per cent.
