Belleville police are looking for help finding a suspect involved in a police chase late Wednesday night.
Shortly after 11:00 p.m., an officer observed a vehicle being driven erratically.
When trying to stop the pickup, the driver took off, then struck a parking pole at Front and Bridge streets.
The driver then flipped it into reverse and sped off.
The officer stopped the chase due to public safety.
Later on, police received information that a vehicle fitting the description had struck a pole on Ann Street.
It was unoccupied.
It is at 2008 GM Sierra, blue in colour.
