Theft
On February 25, 2025 at 8 p.m., police were called to a Bell Boulevard business regarding a theft. Police were advised that an unknown suspect had taken a gym bag from an unlocked vehicle. Police received another call regarding the theft of a laptop in the same area a short time later. Police were able to track down the suspect and make an arrest. Robert Dunn, 23, of Belleville was arrested and charged with two counts of theft and two counts of possession of stolen property. Dunn was later released with an April 3 court date.
Stolen vehicle
On February 25, 2025 at 10:05 p.m., police received a call to a Bridge Street West business regarding a stolen vehicle. Police were advised by the complainant that he left his vehicle running while he quickly ran into a store. When he returned, the vehicle was gone. The vehicle is described as a 2017 navy blue Volkswagen O1G hatch back with plate number CRTM 645. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Belleville Police Service.
