The Belleville Senators put their eight-game losing streak on the road to bed with a 2-1 shootout win over the Monsters in Cleveland.
Jan Jenik scored in regulation (7th) as well as the shootout winner and enjoyed playing in front of almost 15,000 people at Rocket Arena.
It was another stellar game in goal for Leevi Merilainen. He stopped 31 shots including 11 in the first period.
The B-Sens and Monsters go again tonight (Monday) in Cleveland.
