The Trenton Golden Hawks smashed the Wellington Dukes 5-2 on Saturday night.
Devin Mauro, Taeo Artichuk, Spencer Hughes, and Matthew Souliere scored for the Golden Hawks.
Zander Latreille and Ethan Murray scored for the Dukes.
Both teams played to a scoreless draw in the first period before the Dukes grabbed the first goal of the night early in the second. The Golden Hawks came back with two goals of their own before moving to the third period. In the third, the Dukes grabbed one last goal. while the Golden Hawks extended their lead with three more to take the game.
The Golden Hawks play again on Sunday against the Toronto Jr. Canadiens. The Dukes are back in action on Tuesday facing the North York rangers.
