After falling behind 1-0 in the first period, the Trenton Golden Hawks put it together and scored three unanswered goals the rest of the way and defeated the Lindsay Muskies 3-1 Friday night.
Taeo Artichuk scored twice for Trenton in the second and Corbin Roach scored a shorthanded goal into an empty net with less than a minute left in the game.
Both Roach and David Fournier had two assists in the game which was played at the Lindsay Recreation Complex.
The Golden Hawks outshot the Muskies 29-25.
Meanwhile, this season’s fourth edition of the Battle of Quinte takes place in Wellington Saturday afternoon.
It’s the Golden Hawks and Dukes at 1:30.
Trenton has won the first three games between the two teams.
