Saturday evening is going to be very busy across our region, but certainly for good reason.
Coldest Night of the Year walks take place in communities across Canada.
Walks in our region include Port Hope, Kingston, Cobourg, Napanee, Belleville, and Trenton.
It is the first year for the Trenton Care and Share Food Bank
Food Bank co-manager Jen Koornneef tells Quinte News the walk happens in over 190 cities across Canada.
“It is in support of organizations that offer services within the realm of hunger, homelessness, or hurt. Really hoping that businesses in Quinte West rally around this event. You can support the event in several different ways.”
