With a winter storm warning in effect from Environment Canada and heavy snowfall blanketing the region, some local events have been cancelled.
Trenton United Church, St. Mathew’s Church, College Hill United Church, Hastings Park Bible Church, and Bridge Street United Church have all cancelled their Sunday service.
The Belleville Lions Club bingo hall will remain closed all Sunday and Monday, and will reopen on Tuesday.
Belleville Theatre Guild matinee performance of THE ROCK, scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16 has been cancelled.
Heavy snow is expected to continue through the morning and afternoon, before ending in the evening. Up to 30 cm of snow is expected to fall.
