Scene clear after suspicious package found at Cobourg Community Centre

The Cobourg Police Service and the Cobourg Fire Department were called to the Cobourg Community Centre after a report of a suspicious package Wednesday afternoon.

The building was evacuated as a precaution.

The package was deemed not suspicious, and Police and Fire Services cleared the scene by 6 p.m.

There is no concern for public safety at this time.
