A long-time athlete, coach, referee and educator, Jack Sisson has passed away.
Sisson is best remembered as a coach, advisor and mentor to countless students and athletes at Quinte Secondary School.
As an athlete Sisson helped lead the Queen’s Golden Gaels to an Intercollegiate Football championship.
Jack Sisson was inducted into the Belleville Sports Hall of Fame in 1989.
He was 96.
Visitation will take place at the Burke Funeral Home, 150 Church St South, on Thursday, February 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m.
A Celebration of Life, followed by a reception, will take place on Friday, February 28 at 11 a.m. at Eastminster United Church.
