Construction in Quinte West started off with a bang in 2025.
The city’s building department issued 48 permits with a construction value of just over six million dollars last month, a significant increase over the 35 permits worth $1.9 million from January 2024.
There were nine permits issued for new residential construction last month, including single family dwellings, semi-detached and apartments, resulting in a total of 17 new units.
