One of the strongest D-Men in the history of the Belleville Senators is getting the call to the 4 Nations Cup.
Nikolas Matinpalo, who has played 116 games for the B-Sens, including 24 this season, has been named to the roster of Team Finland.
Matinpalo has spent the last several weeks playing with the parent club in Ottawa, playing 18 games this season in the NHL.
The 4 Nations Cup includes Canada, Sweden, the United States, and Finland.
Players taking part include Connor McDavid, Sidney Crosby, Auston Matthews, William Nylander, and more.
Former B-Sens goaltender Filip Gustavsson is playing for Team Sweden.
