The Trenton Golden Hawks defeated the Stouffville Spirit 2-1 on Saturday night.
Taeo Artichuk and Joey Brehmer scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks took the lead with an unanswered first period goal, but the Spirit came back in the second with one of their own to tie the game. Late in the third period, the Golden Hawks broke the tie to take the game.
The Golden Hawks will be back in action on Tuesday to face the Haliburton Huskies.
