While Highway 401 in the area remains open, yesterday’s snowfall has made for potentially dangerous road conditions.
There have been several minor collisions involving tractor-trailers and passenger vehicles on the 401 overnight.
No serious injuries have been reported with most vehicles simply sliding off to the side of the highway, into the median or into a ditch.
Police remind drivers to drive carefully and to expect slowdowns.
