A winter weather travel advisory is in effect beginning this afternoon.
What: Total snowfall accumulations of 5 to 10 cm with higher amounts possible. Reduced visibility in heavy snow.
When: This afternoon through this evening.
Additional information: There is a risk of freezing drizzle this morning before the snow begins. Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
